Limited Edition Framed "Be More" Print

This year’s @urban.art.museum mural theme hit close to “home”. It’s inspried by the work and life of @writerreynagrande and each individual artist’s understanding of what “home” means to them. I chose to paint to a Sparrow, a local bird species that is also a medium range migratory bird. I’ve been doing a lot of bird art this summer and it’s interesting because I’m generally not that into birds. I think recently I’ve begun to respect and connect with their apparent fluid flexibility in living conditions and geographic locations. The idea that they are smart adaptive builders with fairly strong family structures is beautiful.
